Sunny Day, Sweepin' the Clouds Away..

We met up with a group friends today at the park for an afternoon of picnicking, climbing, and splashing. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this week, and we're taking full advantage of it. This post is photo heavy - but I had such fun snapping pictures of The Little and all his friends. I apologize in advance to those with slow connections

Baby A:

Baby N and her beautiful mama, Janelle:

Dump Trucking:

Hanging Around:

Baby K and his papa, Dylan:

Lunch time for Baby A while we chat with Bethann. As an aside, it boggles my mind that there are still some people who would find this obscene or indecent.

The Little and his friend, L.

Double bumps - Caroline and Karyn:

The Little with a look of serious concentration while he navigates the rocks.

Soaked:

With his new friend, G. These two were inseparable. G told his mama that he was "keeping an eye on The Little while they were at the far end of the water fountain." How sweet is he, looking out for my little man?

I love this water feature downtown. It's free, it's beautiful, and it's a great place for the kids to play on hot summer afternoons. Have I mentioned lately how much I love living here?

Yours in summer and sunshine,

Simple Mama

  1. I love the nursing photo! And it also boggles my mind that people would find it offensive. Oh well. They can find it offensive all they want, we (public nursers) aren't gonna hide! Caroline's bump is definitely sticking out just that much more than mine! Any day for either of us, though I think she might kill me if I go first!

  3. Thanks for the pix. Ah, you didn't catch me feeding baby W while riding in her Silly Goose MT. She went right to sleep & don't think anyone except a few moms even noticed.

what is even more disturbing to me is that my hubby's stepfather makes lude, sexual comments about breastfeeding mothers. really?!!!
