Making Spring Luminaries

Since we already had the liquid starch for our string eggs, we decided to make spring time luminaries with craft tissue paper and large balloons.

Rather than dip the tissue paper into the starch, we laid a strip of paper onto the balloon and then painted the starch on top. This helped keep the paper from clumping up and tearing.

This is a great project to do with school aged children and toddlers. But there is a direct corelation between age and messiness.

Simple Mama
