Friday Kitchen Love

Chalkboard contact paper purchased from Amazon. Pretty neat, eh? I love how this little project turned out for my dry goods storage. And when I need to change out the contents of a jar, relabeling is a cinch.

How do you organize your dry goods?

PS - for those of you wondering where I get my bottles
And a link to the chalkboard paper.

  1. What a fantastic idea! The labeling and then changing the contents is always such an issue here.

  2. I love it that chalkboard contact paper, but never thought to use it as cleverly as you. I love glass jars for dried goods. Can never have enough since I also use them to store toys, yarn, pretty much everything. But, finding them in bulk & cheap enough for me is tough. I always look at thrift stores, but rarely find any with lids. Would you share the source of yours?

  4. chalkboard contact paper! awesome! I didn't know it existed and tried to do the same thing w/ chalkboard paint and it the edges were crappy. So glad to know about the paper. I use painters tape and just scribble on it now. Not pretty, but functional.

  5. How does the chalkboard paper hold up if you need to wash or rinse the jars? Such a fabulous idea!

  6. I haven't tried washing them with the chalkboard paper yet. I've found I can unpeel it and then reapply after I've washed the jar. It still sticks.
