WIP - Mama Dolls

I've fallen in love with the process of creating mama dolls. The process is relaxing for me, the end result delightful.

Here are a few I've recently completed:

I'm working this week on a set of dolls - not mama dolls, but the steps are similar. Here's the female - totally naked, just her shape formed with pure white wool batting. It's always a little startling to see them this way, without the benefit of clothing and hair.

And speaking of hair - take a look at this gorgeous selection! I think some fairies might be in order. I ordered my hair from Celtique on Etsy.

Busy crafting,

Simple Mama

  1. I just love these!!! They a gorgeous. And now, I have an excuse to get me one - other than being pregnant myself - working with pregnant mamas.

Kelli - I didn't know you were pregnant! Did you mention it on your blog? I've been such a bad blogger lately - both doing it myself and keeping up.
