Family Craft Day - Play Dough Hearts

Last week as I was finally catching up on some of my favorite blogs, I came across this awesome project over at The Magic Onion.

The Little has been watching me make beeswax hearts and needle felted hearts for my Etsy store and has been begging to make hearts of his own. The post over at The Magic Onion was timed perfectly for his needs. Easy, beautiful play dough hearts for the whole family!

Preparing the dough:

Cutting out Heart Shapes - isn't that the cutest little belly button ever?!

Painting the Hearts:

Even Daddy got in on the crafty action!

I'm listing a few of these cute little kid-made hearts in the shop. Sales will go directly into his piggy bank. :)

You should make some with your own kiddos!

Yours in spreading heart-shaped love!

  1. D! What a fun looking project! I might just try this with The Girl Fairy.

We're also having a little V-Day party, and if they are that easy, this might be the perfect thing for the little ones! What kind of paint did you use?

    H looks adorably interested. I <3 him!
