Introducing Henrietta
She was created with love by the very talented Christine of The Puppenstube . You can also see more of Christine's work at her Etsy Store .
Isn't she just darling? The moment I saw her I was drawn to her and knew she would be coming to live in our home. It was Christine who first commented on the similarities between Henrietta (or Baby H as my son calls her) and my own son. The curly reddish hair, the beautiful brown eyes. The sweet little pink mouth.
She's perfect in every single way - dressed in a soft recycled sweater of autumn colors with flowers for her bunting.
I'm not ashamed to say it was I who fell asleep with her clutched in my arms last night. Of course this morning she was gone - and my own son was fast asleep in my arms holding Baby H while he slept.
I hope to add more of Christine's beautiful dolls to our family in the future.
Yours in magical handmade dolls,
Simple Mama

The instant I saw the first picture I thought it was a doll replica of your son. They are both beautiful.

Would it be bad for a grown, married woman to sleep with a doll?
